The Carlson Family | West Linn, Oregon

June 13, 2015 andie reavely

You were two, then three, and nearly four! You are just the most precious little family—your love and adoration for one another is apparent. Tyler, you are so exquisitely tender with your girls—it is just clear that you cherish them well. Emily, joy is a pronounced clearly in your face, laugh, walk and eyes. And Chloe? Well you won my heart in about three seconds flat. I cannot wait to meet Claire!

April 24, 2015 andie reavely

Hey y'all, this is my youngest brother, Cale. He's a barista, musician, artist and a lover of jesus. I'm constantly intrigued by his interests and instruments.

Check out his music here.

We Steal an Hour from Study & Care

April 8, 2015 andie reavely
“when breezes are soft and skies are fair,
I steal and hour from study and care,
and hie me away to the woodland scene,
where wanders the stream with waters of green,
as if the bright fringe of herbs on its brink
had given their stain to the waves they drink;
and they, who’s meadows it murmurs through,
have named the stream from its own fair hue.

while o’er them the vine to its thicket clings,
and the zephyr stoops to freshen his wings,
I wish that fate had left me free,
to wander these quiet haunts with thee,
till the eating cares of earth should depart,
and the peace of the scene pass into my heart;
and I envy thy stream, as it glides along,
through its beautiful banks in a trans of song.”

Thank you, Lauren, for inviting me to join your afternoon of exploration and play! It was such a breath of fresh air... quite literally.

Josh & Maren | Knopp Music Studio

April 2, 2015 andie reavely

This couple is a power team. Made for each other in every sense of the word. My husband and I had the pleasure of spending time with these two in Rome, Italy last year and got to know each other pretty darn well—we all four shared a teensy, one-bedroom apartment for 3.5 weeks, which definitely put us on the fast track to becoming thoroughly acquainted!

Among many things, I learned that these two absolutely adore and admire each other. They speak the sweet language of unity and humility to one another—which I have found is quite rare among couples. Ah, and they make the sweetest harmonies on their viola and cello. It is absolutely inspiring.
