You were two, then three, and nearly four! You are just the most precious little family—your love and adoration for one another is apparent. Tyler, you are so exquisitely tender with your girls—it is just clear that you cherish them well. Emily, joy is a pronounced clearly in your face, laugh, walk and eyes. And Chloe? Well you won my heart in about three seconds flat. I cannot wait to meet Claire!
Whimsical Bohemian Inspired Bridal | Mount Tabor, Portland Ore.
Wanderers, adventurers and vagabonds: a community of like-minded folk. The idea of the bohemian is undeniably captivating. With this inspired shoot, we wanted to exhibit the whimsical diversity, yet like-mindedness of a bohemian company.
Everything, from the pom-poms, flower crowns, mismatched glassware and recycled bottles made us want to take our shoes off and breath a little bit deeper and laugh a little more freely.
This troupe of artists and creators was a dream to work with— coincidentally embodying the very concept of this shoot inspiration.

We Steal an Hour from Study & Care
“when breezes are soft and skies are fair,
I steal and hour from study and care,
and hie me away to the woodland scene,
where wanders the stream with waters of green,
as if the bright fringe of herbs on its brink
had given their stain to the waves they drink;
and they, who’s meadows it murmurs through,
have named the stream from its own fair hue.
while o’er them the vine to its thicket clings,
and the zephyr stoops to freshen his wings,
I wish that fate had left me free,
to wander these quiet haunts with thee,
till the eating cares of earth should depart,
and the peace of the scene pass into my heart;
and I envy thy stream, as it glides along,
through its beautiful banks in a trans of song.”
Thank you, Lauren, for inviting me to join your afternoon of exploration and play! It was such a breath of fresh air... quite literally.
Josh & Maren | Knopp Music Studio
This couple is a power team. Made for each other in every sense of the word. My husband and I had the pleasure of spending time with these two in Rome, Italy last year and got to know each other pretty darn well—we all four shared a teensy, one-bedroom apartment for 3.5 weeks, which definitely put us on the fast track to becoming thoroughly acquainted!
Among many things, I learned that these two absolutely adore and admire each other. They speak the sweet language of unity and humility to one another—which I have found is quite rare among couples. Ah, and they make the sweetest harmonies on their viola and cello. It is absolutely inspiring.
Meet My Friends, Heather + Calvin Lee
Taylor and I live in a cozy little white house on a quiet double dead-end street in West Linn, Oregon. Since we moved in two and a half years ago, we've absolutely loved getting to know our neighbors—especially the young couple, two doors down. When we first met Heather and Porter (her man, who was hanging out with my man outside), it was just the two of them.
However, during the snowstorm last February, we found out that their lives were about to change dramatically, as they were expecting a new addition to their family!
Now, this sweet boy, Calvin Lee Wallace, is nearly 8-months and is growing so quickly! Nearly taking his first steps! It's fun to get to see Heather and Porter navigate the adventures of parenthood. They're a strong team, working together, loving well and taking every new challenge head on. I am inspired by the both of them.
Here's a few pictures of Heather and Calvin during his nap, to commemorate our one-year-friend-iversary! ^_^
